Adpropo Treasure Hunts: Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. Eligibility
Adpropo Treasure Hunt (the “Hunt”) is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States (and the District of Columbia) who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of AdmuzeMe LLC or any of its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, or any other company or individual involved with the design, production execution or distribution of the Treasure Hunt and their immediate family (spouse, parents and step-parents, siblings and step-siblings, and children and step-children) and household members (people who share the same residence at least three (3) months out of the year) of each such employee are not eligible. The Treasure Hunt is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Treasure Hunt. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

3. Treasure Hunt Registration Period
The Treasure Hunt registration period will begin as noted on the Treasure Hunt Schedule page (click on Treasure Hunts link to access). Registration typically is open until the event begins (the “Treasure Hunt Registration Period”). In order to be eligible and have the best chance to compete to win in the Treasure Hunt you must register for each individual Treasure Hunt at adpropo.com. Limit of one registration per person per Treasure Hunt.
4. How to Compete in the Treasure Hunt
- The Treasure Hunt will be held online at adpropo.com.
- Each Treasure Hunt will start at the designated date and time, as listed on the Schedule.
- Only those that have registered for both adpropo.com and the specific Treasure Hunt will be able to compete in that event.
Rules and Guidelines for the Treasure Hunt
- All participants will begin the Hunt at the same time, for the best chance of winning. Participants may start the Hunt late, but must start within the noted window of time (typically each event is open for 3 hours). The participant’s completion time will be calculated using the event start time, not the participant’s specific start time.
- Adpropo.com will display a series of pages and questions to all participants. Participants’ goal is to answer the questions as quickly and accurately as possible. Some questions may require participants to write in the correct answer while others may be multiple choice.
- Each Treasure Hunt will feature information provided by a group of brands (brands and total number of brands will vary across Hunts). There will be up to three questions for each brand.
- To successfully answer a question a participant may have to go the respective brand’s website or other online location do other research on the brand. Participants should utilize links provided within the clues to open a new window.
- While competing in the Treasure Hunt do not close your web browser or disconnect from the internet.
A person may only compete in a specific Treasure Hunt once. Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address. Any attempt to compete more than once using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that participant’s play and they may be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected participation, which will be disqualified.
Sponsor is not responsible for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions or for technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to electronic malfunction or damage of any network, hardware or software. If for any reason the Treasure Hunt is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Treasure Hunt, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Treasure Hunt. No responsibility is assumed for: any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, or software; or failure of any e-mail or electronic entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the computer network, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in the Treasure Hunt. In the event this skill contest is cancelled, or impacted significantly by technology issues, Sponsor will conduct another skill based competition at a later date to award the prizes.
5. Winner Selection (Treasure Hunt and Random Draw)
The person(s) to complete the Treasure Hunt with the lowest time, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion, will be deemed the grand prize winner(s). There will be between one and three speed-based prizes awarded during the Treasure Hunt (prize details will vary across events and can be found on the introductory page for each event). The entrants that complete the Treasure Hunt the quickest, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion, will be deemed the top prize winners (in order of completion). The entrants who finish the quickest and are entitled to a prize will be contacted using the email address provided with the entry and may be awarded the prize (subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms of these rules.) Sponsor’s decisions as to the administration and operation of the Promotion and the selection of potential winners are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Winners will be notified within 48 hours following the close of the event.
Within approximately 96 hours (4 days) after the close of the Treasure Hunt, Sponsor or an independent judging agency will randomly select a certain number of contestants who successfully completed the Treasure Hunt for random drawing prizes (these prizes and the number awarded will vary across events; detail can be found on the Introductory page of each Treasure Hunt). If you do not want to participate in the Treasure Hunt you can still be entered in the random drawing by sending a postcard with your name, address and telephone number and mailing it to: adpropo, 19 Valley Beech Lane, Malvern, PA 19355. Must be postmarked prior to 3 days before the live event date, and must state the name of the event of interest. Limit of one entry per envelope and limit of one entry per person per event. The entrant will be contacted using the email address, telephone number or address provided with the entry and may be awarded the prize (subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms of these rules). Winner will be notified on or about 96 hours (4 days) after the close of the Treasure Hunt. When relevant, failure to respond to an initial verification inquiry within ten (10) days of notification will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate potential winner in a random drawing of all remaining valid entries received. Odds of winning a random drawing prize depend on the number of people that successfully completed the Treasure Hunt or mailed in to enter.
6. POTENTIAL TREASURE HUNT WINNERS ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE TREASURE HUNT.
7. Verification of Potential Winners
Potential winners must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. The potential winners may be notified by email, after the date of judging. The potential winners may be required to sign and return to Sponsor, within five (5) days of the date notice is sent, an affidavit of eligibility, and liability/publicity release (except where prohibited) in order to claim his/her prize if applicable. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to sign and return the affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within the required time period (if applicable), or if the prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner forfeits prize. In the event that a potential winner of a prize is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor may award the applicable prize to an alternate winner selecting the Submission that next scored the best from among all remaining eligible entries.
8. Prizes
Prizes will vary across Treasure Hunts and details for each event will be provided on the introductory page. In most cases, unless otherwise noted, dollar amounts associated with event promotion represent the total amount of money to be given away during that event.
For all prizes: No cash equivalent for the prizes, prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any listed prize for one of equal or greater value for any reason. Winner is responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use.
9. Prize Limitations
There can only be one top prize winner per household per event. Any individual or household can not win more than $500 of top prize money in a 60 day period, unless the single prize they win exceeds that amount. If a winner of one event, with a prize less than $500, places in the top of a subsequent event within 60 days, and the addition of the prize amount would cause the total winnings to exceed $500, they will autimatically receive the lowest of the top prizes that keeps them under that amount, or close to it based on the sole discretion of the sponsor.
10. Publicity
Except where prohibited, participation in the Treasure Hunt constitutes winners’ consent to Sponsor’s and its agents’ use of winner’s name, site user name, likeness, avatar, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.
11. Entry Conditions and Release
By entering, each entrant agrees to: (a) comply with and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and/or the Treasure Hunt judges which are binding and final in all matters relating to this Treasure Hunt; (b) release and hold harmless the Sponsor, and their respective parent, subsidiary, and affiliated companies, the prize suppliers and any other organizations responsible for participating in, sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Treasure Hunt, and all of their respective past and present officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liability, including but not limited to negligence and damages of any kind to persons and property, including but not limited to invasion of privacy (under appropriation, intrusion, public disclosure of private facts, false light in the public eye or other legal theory), defamation, slander, libel, violation of right of publicity, infringement of trademark, copyright or other intellectual property rights, property damage, or death or personal injury arising out of or relating to a participant’s entry, creation of an entry or submission of an entry, participation in the Treasure Hunt, acceptance or use or misuse of prize (including any travel or activity related thereto) and/or the broadcast, exploitation or use of entry; and (c) indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Sponsor from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liabilities (including reasonable attorneys fees) arising out of or relating to an entrant’s participation in the Treasure Hunt and/or entrant’s acceptance, use or misuse of prize.
12. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Treasure Hunt, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Treasure Hunt, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Treasure Hunt or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Treasure Hunt may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
13. Limitations of Liability
The Released Parties are not responsible for: (a) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Treasure Hunt; (b) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (c) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Treasure Hunt; (d) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Treasure Hunt or the processing of Entries; or (e) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Treasure Hunt or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an entrant’s Entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another Entry in the Treasure Hunt. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded.
14. Disputes
Entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Treasure Hunt, or any prizes awarded, other than those concerning the administration of the Treasure Hunt or the determination of winners, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (b) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Treasure Hunt, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved exclusively by the United States District Court or the appropriate New York State Court located in the New York County, New York; (c) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Treasure Hunt, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (d) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Treasure Hunt, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of New York or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of New York.

16. Treasure Hunt Results
For Treasure Hunt results send a hand-printed, self-addressed, stamped envelope to Winners List c/o adpropo, 19 Valley Beech Lane, Malvern, PA 19355, and note the name of the event of interest. Requests for the winner list must be received at least 45 days after the end of the Treasure Hunt. Winners will also be posted on the site after the group has been notified and verified.
